"Csak a világ végire..." ("Only To The Edge Of The World...") is the title of the new Ghymes album for children, which was published by Rock Hard Records, and will be first available at the concert on Margitsziget (Margaret Island) on May 29th. It contains 11 new songs.|
Some of the songs from the new album will be performed at the concert on Children's Day.
The Fonogram - Hungarian Music Award (which replaced the Golden Giraffe Award last year) was given to the éGHYMESe album of Ghymes in the category “Domestic World Music Album Of The Year”.|
The prize (which can be seen in the picture on the left side) was given to the band during the awards ceremony held on Tuesday evening (May 3rd).
|The Ghymes band is receiving a well-known and respected guest again: Károly Eperjes, member of the theatre company “Új Színház” (New Theatre) will appear in the Culture Centre of the 12th district (XII. Kerületi Művelődési Központ).|
The band received the ARTISJUS award in the "Production of the Year" category, which was given by a professional jury for the Christmas Anniversary Concerts held in the Budapest Congress Centre in 2004, and for the "éGHYMESe" album released in November. The prize itself is a bronze sculpture, which can be seen in the picture on the left side.|
The band would like the grab this occasion to say thanks to its enthusiastic audience, and for everyone who contributed to the success of the two productions above.

The Ghymes band has won the ARTISJUS award in the "Production of the Year" category in 2004. The award was founded for the acknowledgement and inspiration of contemporary Hungarian creative activity in music and literature.|
The award will be presented in a ceremony which takes place on March 4th, 2005. For this reason, the Ghymes club (formerly announced for the same day) is cancelled for March.
There will be a concert in the Capital Circus of Budapest this year as well. The time is: Saturday, March 12th, the guest of the band will be László Helyei this time.
The one and a half hour programme will contain a new song from the band's soon to be released new children's album.

This year's first guest is the Fakutya Band, their program is based on instrumental and vocal folk music of the Csángó minority in Moldavia.
