A maxi CD is also about to be released. It will contain the song „Ó, ha Magyarországba”. This CD will be available as an attachment of the magazine titled Heti Válasz (Weekly Answer).
There will be two Christmas concerts in Slovakia this year. |
The first Ghymes Christmas will be held in the building of the Slovak Radio in Pozsony (Bratislava) on December 2nd, the second in the „Városi Művelődési Központ” („City Cultural Centre”) in Galanta on December 14th.

The Bridge Fest (Hídünnep) - which has become a tradition in Esztergom during the last few years on the anniversary of the re-building of Bridge Mária Valéria - won't be held this year. In consequence, the Ghymes concert that was previously announced for this occassion on September 29th, 2007 is cancelled.|

The sale of the tickets for the Christmas Concert in the Papp László Budapest Sportaréna on December 26th, 2007, has been started|
The evening - considering its characteristics - is a large format concept. The participants - almost 100 members - consist of a big choir, a dance ensemble, the Ghymes band and several actors, forming a live Bethlehem.
The theme of the performance is "Mary looking for a shelter". The story built on the Bible and the Peasant Bible begins with Mary's persecution, with the major milestones being the massacre of the infants by Herod, the outlawry, the hopelessness and fears of the pregnant mother, all these elements culminating in the finale. "Knocking" on the doors of many people, none of whom will accomodate the seeker for a shelter. The suffering of the last night, the birth, the star, the Three Kings, joy, future, hope.
The Ghymes band creates this performance by interweaving pieces from its former repertoire into the completely new music written for this specific occasion. (The brand new Chrismas album by Ghymes - which is expected to be released in November - is also based on this material.)

The concert that was cancelled because of the stormy weather on August 20th, is re-scheduled for the Bridge Fest to be held at the end of September in Esztergom.|
