Children's Concert in the Capital Circus of Budapest |

The anniversary will be celebrated with the children as well.
The band will give a concert titled "Ghymes is Twenty Years Old" on March 28th (Sunday afternoon), in the Capital Circus of Budapest. |

Ghymes Club in March |

The date of the March club evening is not the usual first Thursday of the month. Instead, it will be held on Tuesday evening, March 2nd, in the Cultural Center of the 12th District [XII. Kerületi Művelődési Központ]. The guest of the evening will be the Kerekes Band from Eger. |

Ghymes is twenty years old |

The year 2004 is rolling by in terms of the anniversary for Ghymes. The band sets off for a nationwide anniversary tour in the spring. These are the established concerts of the series so far: Budapest (XII. ker. Művelődési Központ), Vác, Szentendre, Budapest (BME), Dabas, Debrecen, Pannonhalma. Besides, the band received two invitations from abroad: for a Hungarian Season in London, and for the Month of Hungarian Culture in Sofia. |

Christmas Concert |
|

Two songs get their first live performances at the Christmas Concert of the Ghymes Band: Johann (from the album Hawkspell [Héjavarázs]) has never been performed before, and a new piece of music will also be heard during the Pilinszky-work that will be perfomed by György Cserhalmi (a well-known Hungarian actor).
(We advise that visitors coming to the concert by car consider looking for parking places in the side streets nearby, because there might be congestions at the paying parking lot of the Budapest Congress Centre which has only one entry and exit point.) |

The first Ghymes DVD is released |

The first DVD of the Ghymes band is in the shops from December 15th. Besides the Christmas Concert recorded last year, the release contains a film with interviews with the members of the band.

Two concerts in the Budapest Congress Centre |

Due to the huge demand, there will be an extra concert in the Budapest Congress Centre on December 28th, at 4.30 p.m. Tickets for the afternoon performance are already available at the usual ticket agencies. |

Christmas Concert in Bratislava |

The guest performance of the dance group of the Slovak State Folk Ensemble (SĽUK) will enhance the Christmas Concert of Ghymes in Bratislava. The time of the concert: December 16th, 7pm.
